Usage

2
The Item being tested prior to deployment.

The item is to be used as a Last Resort Disable Weapon per the Anomalous Weaponry Deployment Protocol. The operators of the weapon will assemble it once a safe area for its construction has been located and these same operators will be the only ones who will be able to use it. The handling and activation of the weapon can be seen in the Document Eye of Shiva/Execution-01 which can be obtained upon request.

Once used, the item must be dismantled and stored in its Special Compartment made of anti-ballistic alloy, with the Crimson-Alpha Element placed in its independent Container made of █████. Subsequently, both the Special Compartment and the Container will be stored in an anti-explosion room with the Container placed in its special power station.

Entry to the room can only be carried out by Gamma Level members. There must be at least two (2) security cameras and at least three (3) security guards guarding the entrance.

Report

The item is composed of two components.

  • Directed Energy Weapon (DEW) - It is a highly modified laser gun of two (2) and a half meters in height. It consists of a rotating tripod-shaped base and a device made up of a module composed of several microscopic mirrors and glass tubes. On top there is a screen that works as a heat-seeking device. It includes a one (1) meter long barrel whose interior is made up of a layer of individually placed electro magnets. The majority of the device is made up of an Energy Cell made up of two giant circular magnets at both ends of a metal tube whose interior is filled with an organic liquid, whose main component is an unknown natural amino acid. Inside it is the Crimson-Alpha Element attached to a light emitter.
  • Element Crimson-Alpha - The component is a 6cmx6cm sapphire crystal. The crystal itself does not appear to have any anomalous properties, and analysis of the object has not shown any unusual components. However when exposed to any type of light that emits a considerable amount of heat, it will emit a brilliant beam of heat with destructive warfare capabilities. It is theorized that the origin of the visible light spectrum passes through a kind of microscopic angular space1 which increases the properties of the light beam.

When the device is activated, a satellite view of the surrounding area ten (10) kilometers around the weapon will appear on the AED screen, showing the heat signatures of all living beings, and energy-emitting machinery, within the area. When any of the heat signatures on the screen are selected, it is marked on the screen as a Primary Target.

The device containing the Crimson-Alpha Element then tilts, attaching its base to the rear of the barrel, with the nearest magnet deactivating and moving out of place. The light emitter then activates, releasing several beams of light particles towards the Crimson-Alpha Element. It heats up for about 15-20 seconds before firing a cluster of heat energy in the form of a barrel-amplified beam of light with enough power to melt a 5,200 mm galvanized steel wall in less than four (4) seconds.

The beam of light lands consistently on the marked target creating an explosion that releases a large amount of heat energy and radiation in small doses.

Analysis of the screen interface shows that there was a command to fire the beam manually, but it was apparently deleted from the primary functions for unknown reasons.

Addendum

The Item was acquired following the attack by a Special Team of IC-004: Zeta Cell on Base-7 on ██/██/2020. The excursion appears to have been sent to steal various items from the Item Arsenal, with a special interest in Item#005. The Item was activated by the invaders from a hill near the base, causing the entire north wall to be destroyed along with ██ Insurgency personnel.

After a twenty-minute battle with Base Security and the Rapid Response Team "The Saints", help was requested from Base-13, who through a Input Ritual2 they were able to send in the Large Scale and Heavy Support Assault Team "Unit 31" to engage the raiders. After fifteen minutes into the battle the invading Task Force attempted to retreat with the remaining uninjured members of Unit 31 in pursuit.

Because they all resisted capture leading to their termination at the hands of the Assault Team members, there were no survivors. The item was found on the hill where it was fired next to the burned remains of its operator who apparently attempted to use a thermal bomb to destroy the item, but was stopped by a munition fired by the Unit's Heavy Assets.

For more details about the attack see the Base-7 Siege Report.

Addendum 2

Recent research into the item has yielded some data tracing its construction to a former Insurgency cell located in ██████, United Kingdom. Additionally, several functional parts appear to be connected to several paratech distributors, the most prominent being GoI-███: Raptor Tec Industries, a military paratech conglomerate based in Germany.

Finally, a breakthrough was made through the intervention of an Insurgency agent active in London, who released several reports and logs showing longstanding trades and dealings with the Crimson-Alpha Element over the years. After tracing back to its first appearance as part of the British Crown Jewels, Delta Command identified the Crimson-Alpha Element in ancient documents from several Foundation precursors. The following document presented here was released from the Delta Command Personnel Archives to assist in the investigation.

Unusual Cargo Commission (1670)

Her Majesty's Royal Foundation For The Study of Curiosities and Paranormal (1910)

Based on the information obtained it can be concluded that the Crimson-Alpha Element or "Eye of Shiva" was lost by Her Majesty's Royal Foundation For The Study of Curiosities and Paranormal. It is believed that some member of the staff took advantage of the events that occurred during the Foundation Civil War to extract the object from its containment and sold it on the anomalous black market, however no GoI specialized in that field had said object in their possession, being only Marshall, Carter, & Dark Ltd. who came to hear proposals for sale given to one of its buyers but after a time nothing was heard of it again, being the last known whereabouts of the object Great Britain.

On ██/██/2020, Agent ████ discovered vague mentions of a "potential anomalous weapon" among documents recovered from the ruins of Cell-Z-16 during the excursion organized on ██/██/████ by order of Delta Command. Due to the excessive amount of uncatalogued files found, it was not known about this one until after the events of the siege. The file found is partially damaged.

The rest of the document is corrupted and unrecoverable. Any information related to the article will be placed in this document.
