CHAPTER XV
The "Construction" is much more than simply resurrecting the dead. One who practices the art of creating flesh monsters calls themselves an Architect. The true goal of Architects is to create life, an enterprise that usually produces poorly formed creations rather than actual art. The collection and selection of the anatomical parts from which the new creation will be constructed is the first step. This is usually done by paid grave robbers, corrupt heads of mental asylums, or, if the creator is daring enough, by capturing any lowlifes spit out by society. In some cases, even animal limbs are used for construction. This is where the Holy Metal comes into use to bind the various anatomical features together into a single, ideal piece. These must be marked with the appropriate runes; they provide a sort of connection between the disparate parts gathered by the corpses. In addition to the above document, the following items were found:
- A series of surgical instruments dating back to the 7th century.
- Human bones of at least 13 unknown individuals and several unidentified animals.
- A portable tattoo machine.
- 7 jars filled with preserved organs, including two hearts, four lungs, a complete nervous system, three livers, and two other organs of unknown purpose.
- A 2-liter container filled with spinal fluid.
- A rusty saw with dried blood.
Information regarding either the found document or the items has not been found. The untimely assassination of █████ ████ during the operation eliminated the last source of information regarding the origins of said items. Information obtained from the files provided by the GRU Division P has left nothing clear.
Update ██/██/██: Research and replay of a series of experiments conducted on the documentation by the Department of Thaumatology and Occult Artifacts has revealed a series of signs and signatures found in the procedures described that point to the possible connection of the document with GoI-192: Meat Circus. Tests conducted in controlled environments have led to the conclusion that the process is 87% similar to the processes used by the "Mutators" faction of the Group of Interest, with a margin of error of 9.5%. The research is still inconclusive and a final decision is awaited by the Research Department.
