Report
The Article are boxes of packages of cigarettes of the Mexican brand Delicados created in 1918 by the company Philip Morris International. Each box contains twelve (12) packs containing eighteen (18) Delicados filtered cigarettes. Both the package and the packs do not present anomalies by themselves.
Cigarettes differ from the originals in that the component of their nicotine, tar and carbon monoxide seems to be much more than indicated by the Health Departments, as well as including an element more mixed with nicotine that appear to be the leaves of a plant no identified, but related to that of the Erythroxylum coca3 and the Cannabis4 though of an unknown nature. In addition to this, the surface of the side of each cigarette contains the name of a part of the human body written in black ink. The Article's qualities are activated when the filter tip of cigarettes is dipped in a subject's blood, lit, and smoked.
Once lit, the body part of the subject whose blood was put into the cigarettes will start to spontaneously burn and consume at the same speed as the cigarette with the written name of that part is smoked. The process takes the same time as a normal puff. The consummation of the part used barely releases flames or smoke, leaving a trace of ash with a volume equal to that of the part that begins to be consumed.
Appendix: Parts Consumed Table
| Written Part | Cigarette/Body Part Consumption Time | Effects | Notes |
| Right arm | 4:50 minutos | The subject's arm was consumed starting from the fingertips and slowly progressing to shoulder level. The fire trail leaves hardly any smoke and completely burns skin, muscle, veins and bone to ash. The shoulder wound is completely seared. | N/A |
| Left arm | 4:52 minutos | Same as the Right Arm. | The personnel who smoked the cigarettes noticed a slight change in taste of these compared to those of the Right Arm. |
| Right leg | 5:10 minutos | Similar to that of the arms, starting from the tips of the toes, but it takes a little longer to burn the bone, exposing it for brief moments during the process. | The flavor is described as of lower quality compared to the previous ones5. |
| Left leg | 5:10 minutos | Same as the Right Leg. | The taste is the same as that of the Right Leg. |
| Head | 4:49 minutos | It starts from the tip of the head by burning the scalp and skin, continuing with the skull. Upon reaching the face, it burns the eyes, evaporating the aqueous humor and burning the rentin and the rest of the eyeball. Upon reaching the mouth the process slows down, burning each tooth individually until they are completely black. The tongue literally "melts" inside the mouth. The combustion stops at the level of the neck and is cauterized as in the previous parts. | The taste is considered the best of all; staff admit to having "insights" or "revelations" of a worldly nature when smoking this part. Subjects who undergo this process die of shock at the 2-2:30 minute mark. |
| Torso | 5: 21 minutos | Start from the bottom of the neck. The process is slow due to the number of organs within the body, each of which is dried and consumed separately. All blood in the heart appears to turn black during the process for unknown reasons. The process stops after the individual's genitalia are consumed. | The taste is described as average until the end, where it is described as "sweet". Subjects die seconds after starting the process because the throat is completely burned. |
Appendix 2
The Item was accidentally discovered during an attack on the main base of the █████ Cartel in the port of ████, Veracruz, in response to the theft of drug proceeds from its drug lords. One of the soldiers of one of the Special Teams sent took a cigarette lying on the ground slightly stained with blood from one of the members of the cartel that just finished. While he was smoking it, he noticed that the arm of the body next to him began to "burn to ash" and called for support, believing that it was some potential anomaly.
Because the area was remote and the local authorities were partially controlled by the Insurgency, an investigation team was sent to search for the possible Anomaly of Interest. An hour later, the original pack of the cigarette found in the offices of one of the capos was discovered, who had the other packets of packs stored in his safe.
Investigation and interrogation of the surviving cartel members revealed that the packages were found by their boss in a house that belonged to one ████ ██████, who was a former police officer and member of a cartel whose name He did not know, but what his boss referred to as "Los Brujos". Review of the described locality and the police file of ████ ██████ confirm that this was a member of the highest rank of GoI-███: Los Ocultos, which indicates that the anomaly was his creation. No other anomaly was found in the house other than several burned bones and abundant ash.
